What we did
The HE meeting pictured in the previous post is on every week. We were quite late as I was having one of those days where wading through treacle would have seemed like an easier option. It's all a bit of a blur, but I had found nits on Fugs and suddenly decided he didn't really need all that hair. So I gave him what can only be described as a short back and sides. Then, it was daddy's turn, who still hadn't gone to work- it was well after lunchtime. We finally had some sandwiches around 4 and Fugs was really keen to go as he had heard wind of a pirate ship, so we picked Lily up and made it there not long before 5. I totally missed the market, where I owe the wholefood man £6 from last week. I thought it might all be over, but it was only just geting started. It was just as well as it had been a bit grey and rainy all day, but had brightened up and was a really pleasant evening.
There wasn't an organised activity as such. There had been talk of building a bender, but the rain had stopped and it was nice to be outside. People just pottered and chatted and played among the boats, allotment, swing, swamp, trees, etc. later a fire was lit and vegetables were picked and chopped and cooked and eaten.
...crying baby, again-I give up.
