You're photos are always so perfect! They make my heart smile and are the most wonderful advert for happy contented children.
Oooh I love Wycoller! Haven't been there for years, must go again soon
Hi Rosie,
Beautiful pictures ... and what an amazing t.shirt design!!! I looked into this recently at a shop near us and they wanted £12 to print our design and we had to supply the shirt too! I was wondering if you could buy iron on transfer material you could print on. Any ideas where you got it? (I gather it was a while ago!)
I've also been thinking about making a living willow structure in our small garden ... and perhaps a hammock (looked like you'd done a hammock in your pictures!) WAs also super impressed with your teepee! If you have The Works near you, they were selling a super book cvalled 120 Great History Projects. We've been having great fun building houses based upon the projects in it ... redesigning them too, according to the materials we had available and our ideas of how to improve them. It was only £2.99!!!
My mum used to give us the option to hook rugs for '6 O'clock Work' ... we were busy making the stair carpet for a long time! Whatever became of our strangely designed stair-sized rectangles ... who knows! It was preferable to cleaning out the fridge, or scrubbing the loo! A well trained troup of 6 kids can paint strip a whole flight of banisters in no time too ;-)
thanks, Sally. I think you can get the transfer paper in most print suppliers or Staples or PC world type shops, with the other printer papers. I got a pack of 10 A4 sheets for £10. or you could try searching on the internet if you want mail order.
Interesting about rug-hooking. have you done braided rugs, too?.
