BBC - BBC ONE - Listings According to The Independant this program shows an experiment which demonstrates 4 year olds have picked up on racist stereotypes. Worrying.
But not overly surprising, after all, they are picking up on gender stereotypes by that age. Thanks for mentioning that it's on though, I do enjoy watching it, as Big is the same age (born Jan 2000) as the children in the show.
must be a blogger glitch as it's working now. The children were funny with the haggis- J and F (7 and 4) both said yuck to it, although Jem ate it up (they had half an onion each). Ally, the baby, was completely unphased at being presented by a strangeley stuffed vegetable, and just ate it like everything else. 2 guests tried it and said it was nice - one couldn't believe I'd made it (maybe just being polite!). B said it tasted like real haggis (made in sheep's stomach, but mainly oatmeal, like this one). We've finally managed to finish them all up today! well, I made 9.
