Bizarre you going to see a band doing hillbilly covers of punk - although I haven't heard of them, sounds like something I'd go to see (if I could get out).
I met my husband whilst heavily 'into' psychobilly and you can see quite a bit of hillbilly-cum-punk at psychobilly 'dos'.
