4th Sunday in Advent
Been a bit busy to post, so filled in with some photo's. Should just do a phot blog, really. Apparently you can do it from your mobile phone, if you have the right sort. My digi camera's a bit crap, but sort of does the job.
Felt relly rough all day today as not been getting enough sleep and still haven't shaken off this cold. Couln't really think, but was ok doing mindless activities, so spent afternoon in garage painting a small desk and chair a rather nice shade of B&Q smoked blue. Later wrote Xmas cards, which, although I had loads of help (!) took much longer than making them- did potato prints in the end on Wednesday with Fugsy- realised this was the only way to get him interested- fast results and look ok, too. I still have to print out Xmas photo (now has become a necessity, I'm afraid, I blame the American cousins), which I managed to take in about 30 seconds flat on Friday night. This is the only way to do it, I find.
Yesterday we went to the Advent Spiral at the Steiner Centre. Jem was there for her monthly Waldorf session, while Fugs and I went to Tesco- (found the perfect Xmas readymeal.) Advent Spiral is a bit like Christingle, only with apples, and without the Carols, and the rest of the churchy stuff, except candles. The children walk round a spiral and light a candle in an apple.
We managed to remember to light the 4th candle on the table at teatime, although I managed to burn the pasta. How do you burn pasta? Duh. Hope I wake up with a brain tomorrow.
